● The vertical multi-stage centrifugal pump has more elbows on the inlet pipe
If there are many elbows used on the inlet pipe, some water flow resistance will be added. Moreover, the elbow should turn in the straight direction, and it is not allowed to turn in the horizontal direction to avoid collecting air.
● When the water inlet pipe is installed, the horizontal section is horizontal or upward
In doing so, the air in the inlet pipe is collected, and the vacuum of the water pipe and the water pump is lowered, so that the suction head of the water pump is lowered and the water output is reduced. The correct way is: the horizontal section should be slightly skewed toward the water source, not the level, and should not be lifted upwards.
● The multi-stage centrifugal pump inlet is directly connected to the elbow
This will cause uneven flow of water as it passes through the elbow into the impeller. When the diameter of the inlet pipe is larger than the water inlet of the pump, the device should be deformed to reduce the diameter of the pipe. Some of the planes of the deformed diameter tube should be mounted on the top, and some of the slopes are placed underneath. Otherwise, the air is collected, the amount of water is reduced or the water is not pumped, and there is a crash. If the inlet pipe and the water inlet of the pump are at the same diameter, a pipe should be added between the water inlet and the elbow. The length of the straight pipe should not be less than 2 to 3 times the diameter of the pipe.
● The multi-stage centrifugal pump outlet pipe is above the normal water level of the outlet
If the water outlet is above the normal water level in the water outlet, the pump head is added, but the flow is reduced. If it is necessary to raise the water level of the water outlet due to the terrain conditions, the elbow and short pipe should be installed at the nozzle to make the water pipe siphon type and lower the water outlet height.
● The inlet of the inlet pipe is not in the right direction
1,The inlet of the inlet pipe is separated from the bottom of the pool and the wall of the pool by less than the diameter of the inlet. If there is dirt such as sediment at the bottom of the pool, if the distance between the inlet and the bottom of the tank is less than 1.5 times the diameter, the water will not form smoothly when pumping water or suck in debris and block the water inlet.
2,When the water inlet of the inlet pipe is not deep enough, this will cause a vortex on the water surface around the inlet pipe, affecting the inflow and reducing the amount of water. The correct device method is: the depth of water entering the small and medium-sized water pump should not be less than 300-600mm, and the large-scale water pump should not be less than 600-1000mm.
● When the bottom valve is set, the bottom section of the inlet pipe is not straight
As with this device, the valve cannot be closed by itself, forming a leak. The correct means of installation is: the inlet pipe with the bottom valve, the bottom section is best straight. If the device cannot be straight due to the terrain conditions, the angle between the water pipe axis and the horizontal plane should be 60° or more.
